Global Defense Specialists has relationships with a network of repair stations that has proven their ability to perform high quality repair and overhaul of all major systems on the platforms we support.
The GDS team has vetted many repair stations over several years and only partners with the repair stations that meet our high standards. We are confident in the ability of our partners to supply the highest quality work demanded by our customers. The list below illustrates a sample of the work performed by our partners. With the help of our global partners we can also supply a host of new and reconditioned spares for every major system of the aircraft we support.
F-16
The GDS team and our expansive network of global partners offer high quality spares and repair services for a variety of platforms. As former maintainers and operators of high performance military aircraft, we understand the critical importance of even the smallest parts on each aircraft; we only partner with like mided companies. Each of our partners have been thoroughly vetted to ensure they meet our stringent standards.
T56
The T56 is arguably the finest large turboprop engine ever built. With more than 230 million combined operating hours it has proven to be a strong and reliable poweplant for several platforms.
F-5
Based on the fuselage of the sleek T-38 Talon, the F-5 gained popularity as an inexpensive high performance light fighter and attack platform. Although the F-5 has been replaced by more advanced fighters around the world, several countries, Including the United States still continue to use the aircraft due to their low cost per flight hour and reliability.
UH-60
The Sikorsky UH-60 follows in the footsteps of other Iconic helicopters. Since its introduction it has become the medium-lift helicopter of choice for militaries around the world. The Black Hawk has served the with distinction for many decades. Several members of the GDS team have first hand experience with the Black Hawk and the Seahawk.
AS332
The AH-1 Cobra is another member of the Bell "Huey" family. Since it's introduction in the late 1960's, the Cobra has proven to be both a feared and respected attack platform and is still in use with multiple nations around the world. The AH-1Z Viper is the latest variant of this fearsome platform.
F100-PW-229
The 229 is the latest generation of the F100 family that provides substantially more power than the 220. The latest generation of the engine, the 229 EEP, has further increased the reliablity of the engine. As with the 220, the 229 is used in both the F-16 (Blocks 42, 52 and 72) as well as the F-15E.
C-130
The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is perhaps the most successful aircraft design of all time. The rugged design and long list of capabilities have made it a favorite transport aircraft for more countries than any other aircraft in existance today. Members of the GDS team have spent many long hours on the Herc, although it is not exactly fast, it is one of the safest aircraft ever built. The mighty Hercules will be in use for many decades to come
CN-235/HC-144
The CASA CN-235 is a medium-range twin-engined transport aircraft in use with more than 20 countries. The flexibility and reliability of this platform has made it a favorite for militaries around the world.
Bell-212/412/AB-412
The Bell "Huey" family of helicopters has a long proud tradition of being the reliable workhourses for many countries for nearly 60 years. GDS is proud to support the modern Huey variants, Bell 212, 412 and the AB-412.
P-3
The Lockheed P-3 Orion is a four-engine turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft developed for the United States Navy and introduced in the 1960s.
AH-1

F100-PW-220E
The F100 family of engines help power many of the F-16's and F-15's around the world. The 220 is a powerful yet reliable afterburning turbofan engine that is in use with many militaries around the world. The reliability and ease of maintenance have helped maintain readiness for several decades.
T-700
The T700 is yet another solid performing small jet engine by General Electric. The T700 reliably powers the UH-60 and AH-64 helicopters in most demanding conditions arround the world.
